Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AYO Wellness Platform ("AYO," "the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, mobile application, and all related services. By creating an account or using AYO in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use AYO.

AYO is an adult-only platform strictly for users aged 18 and older. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to request age verification at any time. Accounts found to belong to users under 18 will be immediately deactivated and all associated data permanently deleted.

You must also have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and must not be barred from using AYO under any applicable law.

AYO is an emotionally intelligent, on-demand wellness platform providing mood tracking, journaling, AI-powered wellness coaching, peer support circles, guided meditation, community engagement tools, and enterprise wellness analytics.

Important: AYO is a wellness support tool — not a licensed medical or mental health service. AYO does not provide therapy, clinical diagnosis, or medical advice. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services immediately (e.g., 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US).

• ·You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
• ·You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• ·You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• ·You may not create accounts for others without their explicit consent.
• ·You may not create more than one personal account.

You agree to use AYO only for lawful, respectful, and constructive purposes. You must not:

• ✕Post or transmit content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, or discriminatory.
• ✕Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• ✕Share or solicit personal identifying information of other users without consent.
• ✕Use AYO to promote self-harm, violence, illegal activity, or extremist ideologies.
• ✕Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or another user's account.
• ✕Scrape, crawl, or extract data from AYO without written permission.
• ✕Use AYO to send unsolicited communications or spam.
• ✕Upload malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt the platform.
• ✕Circumvent or attempt to bypass any access controls, subscription gates, or moderation systems.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban at our sole discretion.

AYO's circles and peer support features are built on trust. When participating in community features, you agree to:

• ✓Treat other members with dignity, compassion, and respect at all times.
• ✓Maintain confidentiality — what is shared in a circle stays in the circle.
• ✓Not record, screenshot, or redistribute other users' private content without consent.
• ✓Report concerning content using in-app moderation tools rather than retaliating.
• ✓Understand that peer supporters are volunteers, not licensed clinicians.

AYO offers free and paid subscription tiers (Plus, Premium, Elite). All paid subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe, Inc.

All content, branding, software, design, logos, and trademarks on AYO are owned by or licensed to AYO Wellness and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you post (journal entries, community posts, etc.). By posting, you grant AYO a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your personal content.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from AYO's platform, branding, or proprietary content without our written permission.

Your use of AYO is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using AYO, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

AYO is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-generated content or AI-generated wellness suggestions, which are informational only and not medical advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AYO and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the platform — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or emotional distress.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to AYO in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, abusive behavior, illegal activity, or any reason we deem necessary to protect the community — with or without notice.

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of AYO shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification and/or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of AYO after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
